
Ronald Moyo a self-taught contemporary artist steeped in cultural and tribal roots was born in Gweru, Zimbabwe in 1995. His love for art was honed at an early age at his mother’s fashion workshop, where the artist attributes his growth and success to his mother’s support and encouragement. He draws his inspiration from his brother Keith Zenda who is also a well known and established artist in Zimbabwe. His work was featured as part of an artist illustrated publication by Martin G. Britz, released in the United States in 2023. The Artist has also been part of a number of group exhibition namely the Soweto Fine Art group exhibition in 2016, 2019, 2020 and 2022, the online Art Expo exhibition and Harlem Fine art show in New York in 2020, 2022 and 2023. Ronald has also done solo exhibition at the Soweto Fine Art in Sandton in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022 and has been awarded the 2019 Emerging Star of the Year Award by the Soweto Fine Art Gallery in 2019. His work is also part of the corporate and private collection at the Ambula African Art Collection, the McDonald African Art Portfolio, the Soweto School of Art Trust all in South Africa. His work is also part of the Stith Contemporary African Art collection in Los Angeles, the McChristian Soweto School of Art collection in New York and the Pindell Collection of contemporary African Art in Washington in the United States.
